Volunteers are the key to our Festival's success!

Individual and Group Volunteers will be needed for 2018. To get started, read the list of opportunities below and then contact our Volunteer coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call John Mosesso at 703-501-5066.

Organizations receive an opportunity to raise funds in exchange for volunteer hours. Typically, an organization receives a 10’x 10’ space to sell an item and in return provide marshals, entertainment assistance, or other duties.

Volunteer Individual and Group Opportunities:

  • Entrance Marshal
  • Stage Crew
  • Carnival Marshal
  • Race Course Marshal
  • Fireworks Marshal
  • Food Area Clean-up
  • General Support
  • Children's Hands-On Art Area (for ages 12 & up)

Volunteer times are flexible. We work with individuals and organizations on times and assignments.

Information and applications about the 2018 Festival will be available in early 2018.

We thank you in advance for helping to make the Herndon Festival a success!
